Dillon and Laurel's story is a fun, spicy, contemporary romance. Laurel and Dillon have known each other most of their lives since she's his twin sister's best friend. Not only did they grow up together, but the girls teased him relentlessly growing up. If there was a prank, they pulled it on Dillon. How was he supposed to know that Laurel had a secret crush on him this whole time?
While it takes Dillon a little time to get over the past, once he does he's the perfect gentleman and truly knows how to romance a girl. He's kind and considerate, and when he messes up he owns it - he doesn't push the blame off on other people or circumstances. It's easy to love Dillon.
Laurel is likewise easy to love. She's had a rough go of it and she's trying hard to make her life a success despite the bad hand she's been dealt. While she believes she's successfully concealed her feelings for Dillon, she can't seem to bury them. Try as she might.
When they finally come together it's beautiful. It's as if they were made for one another. Of course, things can't fall into place perfectly all at once - there are some hiccups. But, this isn't a break-your-heart romance. True love does conquer in the end.
FYI~ this is a SPICY romance, descriptive intimate scenes that I chose to skip over.
