Review of Daughter of Ishmael

Growing up around prophets and prophecies, Hannah and her sisters are excited to be betrothed to sons of Lehi and to journey to the promised land. But now with her people dividing, Hannah must choose between her faith and her family. Should she follow Nephi again, or stay with her husband, Lemuel, and her son in sin and misery? This compelling novel tells the familiar scripture story from an illuminating new perspective.

Tifferz Review~
This was a book recommended by my mom and older sister. Honestly I was not sure about it. But I purchased it and gave it a whirl. The beginning was tough for me; I had to call my sister to make sure this was really worth reading and she encouraged me. I plugged along and soon was caught up in Hannah's life. This story had much of the expected and unexpected. I soon could not put the book down and enjoyed seeing how Hannah's life turned out so different than she had wanted. The ending was not what I was as expecting and ended abruptly and had me thinking this will be book one in a series?!? This is a clean read!
This book also gave me a different perspective and got me thinking. I really liked that aspect of it!
