Tifferz Take~
Will running into your childhood crush, change your life forever? Well, for Valentina she does not know but it does. In a amazing way. I enjoyed getting to know Valentina much better and I honestly felt for her as things did not work out between her and Drew. As you read the story you will see this is for the best. Cesar is a charming yet genuine guy. I thought it endearing that he never pushes Valentina too far. He lets her choose.  I thought the turn of events were funny and delightful. Valentina had to decide what she really wanted in life. Taking a chance I was not sure she would. I loved the ending!  A fun light ending to a brilliant series.

Jewelz Review~
I wasn't sure if I'd like Valentina's story as I felt from the beginning that she was "the other woman" since she wasn't part of the original "five" and she was Drew's ex. However, I found that I thoroughly enjoyed learning about Valentina and that she is just as sweet and endearing as the original "five". I really liked Cesar - I wouldn't have expected the "true love" of a super model to be her middle-school crush. But, it worked! It's amazing what 18 years will do to an awkward tween boy. I really enjoyed the story arc - from the way the relationship was introduced and set up, all the way to how the story ended. A wonderful addition to the Aliso Creek Series.

Now if Ms. Moore will just write a bonus book with all the couples a few years down the road with them all settled into their relationships - I'd love to read about that spring break retreat and how everyone is doing!

This is Arie's story and it is an exciting one. Arie is a workaholic vice president of a real estate company. Her new client Dustin Jacobs the famous film producer affects her in a way she never imagined.

Arie, Liz, Jess and Valentina (Drew's ex) meet up for lunch. Gemma could not make it. It was kind weird because they are talking as if Gemma and Drew are not together. It make me wonder.  Anyways, Arie fills them in on her work problems. All the girls can't believe she has a problem. Arie is feeling refreshed after lunch and a good chat with her girls.

Things get worse for Arie. But they also get better. A perfectly romantic date with Dustin. Wow sparks fly and the chemistry is off the charts! Things just keep going in the right direction for Arie!

I am becoming infatuated with this  must read series!

Jewelz Review~
I really enjoyed Arie's story. It starts off at a fast pace and it doesn't slow down for even a page. Her story begins with her boyfriend, Brad, breaking up with her because she's "too opinionated". But that's ok, because she has to be a strong woman who knows what she wants in order to be the successful real estate agent that is.

That night she gets an emergency call from the office to meet up with movie producer Dustin Jacobs in order to get a listing contract signed for her boss. Unfortunately that meeting results in her losing her job at the agency she works for as vice president. Fortunately, Dustin Jacobs feels guilty about her losing her job and is also somewhat intrigued by Arie. Thus begins a whirlwind relationship with a few twists and turns that are somewhat unexpected.

This was a fun, fast paced story. I read it really quickly and it was a fun afternoon read. As with most novellas I wish there was more, but it's still a great read.

Jess is a recent widow and is having a mourning her late husband. Her friends Gemma, Arie and Liz are doing what they can. But it seems Preston Michaels will be the one to help Jess the most. Once they actually meet. You see this endearing story has some unexpected events that make the story pop.
Preston is so understanding of Jess and is just what she needs. He seems to be in tune to Jess and is able to fix the issue. I was a little sad her friends didn't get to meet Preston. That would have been great. But will guilt of moving on of her late husband mess with this relationship? Read it to find out. I am totally keen on this Aliso Creek Series!! I am hooked so off to read the next book!

Tifferz Take~
I was enthusiastic about reading Liz's story. In the story we meet Liz's daughter Paisley who is six and  I think adds a lot to the plot. Liz has a ton of baggage and has written off men. Well that is until she meets Sloan. But even then she still second guesses herself. Sloan has his own baggage with a crazy ex-wife. I am not kidding when I say crazy. It makes for some interesting situations. I was a little disappointed that the story did not keep up with Gemma and Drew from the first book. We still see contact with Gemma but when reference was made to Drew it was as if he was still single before he got together with Gemma. It would have been nice to see Gemma, Drew, Liz and Sloan all get together.  I was left happy but wanting more. Overalll I still thought the book was tremendous! I am off the read the next installment of the Aliso Creek Series!

Just FYI~ This book does not have any sex or swearing in it.

Third Time's the Charm is Liz's story. Poor Liz hasn't had much luck in love. Twice divorced, she's a single mom to her "mini-me" six-year-old Paisley. She has recently broken up with her last boyfriend and has decided not to date again until Paisley is 18. The best laid plans... As luck would have it, Liz's kitchen faucet is leaking and the plumber has been out twice already and it still isn't fixed. So, she decides to call her the office for the apartment building to see if they will take care of it.

As luck would have it, Sloane Branden, the owner of the apartment building, answers her call and comes up to fix her leaky faucet. Of course - this is just the beginning of a relationship even though both Liz and Sloane have sworn off dating. When destiny comes knocking you can't ignore it - especially when the kisses are so good!

While I would have loved for Drew and Gemma to have made a significant appearance in this story this is another sweet addition to the Aliso Creek Series and I loved it!

Chellz Review~
 I am enjoying the Aliso Creek Novellas.  This story is about Liz, who we met in Picture Perfect.  Liz did not get a "happily ever after" in her first couple of marriages.  Consequently, she has sworn off dating.  When Liz is unable to have the leaky sink fixed, she resorts to calling the property manager.  Little did she know the property owner would come and fix it himself.  Sloan has also sworn off dating after his divorce.  The story and romance that follows is pleasant and entertaining.

I looked to Jace for help, but he seemed to be fighting a losing battle with his tie as he tried to pull it from his neck. “Stop.” I swatted his hands away. “You’re going to hang yourself if you keep doing that.” He shrugged. “What?” I loosened the tie. “No snappy retort?”

“Not feeling snappy,” he said dryly. I slapped him. I never said I was good with emotions. “What the hell was that for?” “Singing Katy Perry.” I grinned. “Now snap to it, Mr. Senator. We’ve gotta make it out of this hotel without that skinny bitch reporting it on the evening news.” “Grandma?” “The reporter.” “You understand my confusion,” he added, just as someone knocked on the door. “Stay here.” “It feels like a bad movie,” I whispered to myself as I chewed the nail polish off my thumb. “Shit.” Jace looked through the peephole and then said shit about five more times before slowly opening the door. Why was he so upset? Why the hell would… “Aw, shit.” I repeated. Because there really wasn’t any other word that existed in the English language that would fit as well. So I repeated it again. As did Jace. Grandma shrugged and pulled off her sunglasses. “Let the fun begin!”

He doesn't think it can get any worse.



But one spider attack... A donkey ride from hell... And an unfortunate episode with Viagra tea -- and there's one thing Jace knows for sure: He should never have agreed to Grandma Nadine's suggestion in the first place.

Because if this isn't paradise, and it isn't a vacation -- that only leaves one option.
