Driven to Date by Susan Hatler

Blurb-
Career-driven attorney, Jill Parnell, has worked long and hard to become a partner at Corbett, Gray, & Shaw. When the coveted position is given to the boss’s nephew, she does what any intelligent employee would do—attends a colleague’s wedding and schmoozes a high-powered partner at another law firm.

Her potential new boss has only one condition for her, that she demonstrate a personal life that will support a thriving career. Pretending to have a boyfriend is outside Jill’s comfort zone, but she invites the best man to act the part and Ryan is all-too eager to play her significant other. Sparks fly between them, but she reminds herself she’s only driven to date to get back on the partner track.

When Jill discovers Ryan is the lawyer who stole her promotion, her charade threatens to implode. But breaking off their pretend relationship could cost her the job of her dreams. And the more she gets to know Ryan, the more she’s tempted to tame the bad boy, and make him her own.

Tifferz Take-
I am a huge fan of Susan Hatler!!! I have yet to read a book I did not absolutely love! Driven to Date is book 7 in the Better Date than Never series. I think it also stands alone nicely. I have become fanatical about this series! Jill a powerful lawyer is a heroine and she is motivated to be a success. she is up for a promotion that doesn't pan out, but don't worry this lady has options. At her friend Ethan's wedding she renews a contact that could potentially get her the job she wants the catch is she has lied and said she has a boyfriend. Ethan's best man.  Whom she does not even know his name. I was impressed with how well Jill acts under pressure. This girl she does deliver. So, she meets Ryan and asks him to be her boyfriend for 10 minutes and explains her situation. Ryan is all to happy to help out and sparks fly my friends.  This is the beginning of a very exciting relationship that has more delightful surprises along the way than I was expecting. The ending was clever and dazzling. I am still thinking and smiling about Driven to Date weeks later! I would recommend this to anyone who likes a sweet romance.

Just FYI- This does not contain any swearing or sexual situations.
