The Secret of the Keepers book 2 by Elizabeth Isaacs
The Kailmeyra Chronicles: Book Two--
Life for Nora couldn't be better; she has married the man of her dreams and loves living in the pristine land of Kailmeyra.
That is, until the darkness threatens her perfect world.
Now war is upon the land. She and Gavin must strengthen their clan and prepare to fight. But the enemy has an ally—one that not only wields power, but holds knowledge of the ancients' secrets. Secrets that could destroy creation itself.
As the darkness grows, doubt seeps in ... protectiveness hinders progress ... and the unthinkable comes to pass.
Bewildered and alone, Nora shoulders the responsibility of leading an entire race to war. As she struggles with decisions that seem impossible to make, she is haunted by one choice.
"No one has ever doubted that you would die for those you love. The question then becomes ... would you live?"
Ms. Isaacs has written a story that I felt is outstanding. The pick up right as it was left off. I loved seeing Nora and Gavin grow as a couple. I also felt the grew as individuals as well. I was captivated as to Nora's thinking. What a brilliant concept with six thought strands. I also was excited about the talents the re This love story is about a love so pure it took my breath away. I liked the new friends that Nora makes and was surprised with how dark someone could become. Is Nora to trusting? Nora and Gavin also face very dark trails.Let me tell you, I would never want to encounter them but I loved reading about them. I found the learning, adventure and danger to be thrilling. This is quite a journey that I can't wait to finish with book three. Ms. Issac please keep writing as I hope to read everything you write.
If you have not read this series it is a MUST OWN series. I will be cherishing and reading this series over and over. I also know my 12 year old daughter would simply love this series.
Just FYI~ This does not contain any swearing and the marriage relations are beautiful and powerful with just a bit of detail. Like I said I would let me 12 year old read this.
