Blurb~
Becoming a vampire
guardian was Dawn Fairchild’s ticket out of the Scarlet House. Fresh off
a successful mission, life in Angel Creek should have been great. But
when her sort-of-maybe-boyfriend, Sebastian, disappears on a quest to
help a beautiful vampire from his past, Dawn finds herself amidst a web
of danger, lies, and deceit.
Joining forces with Razor, an
enigmatic rebel lacking both a verbal and a physical filter, and her
band of Misfits—Brooke, Sophie, Hunter, and Seth—Dawn is thrust into a
race against the clock to solve the mystery surrounding brutal Born
kidnappings and come to terms with the sudden discovery of her own
unique powers. With time ticking away and Born vampires’ lives in
jeopardy, it quickly becomes evident that someone—or something—desperately wants Dawn and is willing to shed any amount of blood to get her.
Dawn
has only one chance to face her demons and overcome all obstacles
standing in her way as she embarks on the biggest mission of her
life—one that threatens a deadly outcome for all involved.
Tifferz Take~
ReAwakened is the second book in the Angel Creek series and I think you need to read the books in order. They are not stand one books in my opinion. Okay so I think ReAwakened was a phenomenal read! Ms. Adams has captured me as a reader and taken me on an adventure I will never forget. The story is filled with the unforeseen. I felt a connection to Dawn,Sebastian, Razor and all the others. I felt as if I was in the story along side them. Ms. Adams has a way of apprehending me as a reader until the last page is read. After I finished I was left thinking I will never last waiting for the next book. I need it now! Over all a series that should not be overlooked and I highly recommend the Angel Creek Series by Ada Adams. ReVamped is book #1. I can't wait to get my hands on book 3.
I would also LOVE it if Ms. Adams would do Razor's story maybe a spin off novel? I'm not sure she has planned but I do think that would make an amazing story!
FYI~ This does have a few swear words but no sexual situations. It does have descriptive violence and well written it did not bother me and I am sensitive to that kind of stuff.

SOME OF ADA"S FAVORITE QUOTES FROM ReAwakened!!
Coming up
with quotes was hard! I tried to choose some spoiler-free ones that show the
characters’ personalities and interactions. I was pretty much a fan of anything Razor said, especially his
interactions with Dawn and Sebastian. I also loved Brooke and Seth’s bickering,
as well as the rare times Hunter spoke. I loved letting the readers get to know
him more in “ReAwakened”. I also loved all Dawn and Sebastian moments, although
I haven’t quoted many – I’m leaving those up to the readers to discover! :)
“Dawn
Fairchild! I never pegged you for a cheater!”
“You cheated first!”
“How so?”
“By smiling at me.”
“I cheated by smiling?”
“It’s such a rare occurrence—I almost drowned from sheer surprise.”
“With you, things never feel hazy. I’m always wide awake. Alive.”
“Are we going to do this again?”
“Do what?”
“The damsel-in-distress and knight-in-shining armor bit.”
“That's not how I see us. I told you before, you're no damsel. You're more like
a butt-kicking dragon. Plus, I've worn armor before, and trust me, it's not my
style.”
“Razor Boy and Dagger Girl—it’s brilliant!
We’re like an old-school crime-fighting team.”
"Love isn't supposed to be complicated, Dawn. If it is,
then you're doing it wrong.”
“I’m not sure what kind of a doctorly image
you have of me, but I can assure you that I was never the Good Doctor,” he said,
winking. “Although, I’ve always been good
at my craft. I’m rather great with my hands. As for my bedside manners—”
“Sebastian could be a puppy,” Razor said,
smirking at me. “A love-sick puppy.”
“And you could be a jerk,” Sebastian shot
back. “No costume required.”
“Every year, during the first Saturday of
October, all of Main Street closes and the buildings turn into haunted houses.
You make your way up the street, going into each one, screaming your head off,
running for your life—”
“Uhh, how is this any different from what
we’ve been doing for the past couple of months?” Seth asked.
Brooke groaned. “Because it’s not real! It’s
supposed to be fun!”
“I can do fun,” I said, trying my best to
sound excited. I think.
Brooke didn’t look very convinced. “Whatever you do Dawn, please don’t
karate chop any of the masked actors,” she begged as the rest of the group
laughed.
“We’re back at square one,” I admitted,
repressing a defeated sigh.
“I’m pretty sure that now we’re at square negative one,” Brooke grumbled.
“You just made a math joke, Brooke.” Seth
couldn’t hide the smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
“There may still be hope for you yet.”
I
could fight real. But I had no
weapons against the imaginary.
“Dawn…?”
“Yes?”
“You’re pretty cool when you’re not cracking
the whip in the training arena.”
“Thanks, Hunter. You’re pretty cool when
you’re actually talking.”
Razor chuckled. “Don’t forget the part where I
lined the rafters with buckets of blood, rigging them so
that[…]they soaked you in the gooey stuff.”
“How could I forget that?” Sebastian muttered.
“As a vampire, you should appreciate the
gesture,” Razor joked.
Sebastian shot him a fiery glare. “As an
eleven-year-old human, I didn’t.”
“I care about all my friends.”
He arched a brow. “Even me?”
“I’m not sure if I’d consider you a friend.”
“Then perhaps a handsome stranger?” he teased, poking me in the ribs. “Do you often make a
habit of getting into strangers’ cars?”
“Only those I know I could take in a fight.”
More About the Author:
“Many people sing in the shower. I write scenes in my head and
act them out.”
