Rumors of war hang over Princess Jeniah's peaceful country of Arden, a land that shuns both magic and warfare. Following a lifelong dream, Jeniah forms a telpathic bond with a revered creature called a chayim, who is prophesied to save her kingdom. But when a Darborian knight comes upon Jeniah with her chayim, he sees only a vicious monster about to devour a maiden, and he slays the beast.
Devastated by the loss of her chayim, and fearing that her own magic is evil, Jeniah doubts her destiny. When an enemy invades Arden City, they slaughter the people, storm the castle, and execute the entire royal family except the princess. Rescued by the knight who slew her chayim, Jeniah is now heir to the throne of Arden and the only hope for freeing her people from tyranny.
On the run and hunted by enemy soldiers, Jeniah must place her life and the fate of her kingdom in the hands of this trained killer. Torn between embracing her destiny as queen of Arden, and her love for a mere knight, she must ultimately rely on her magic to save herself and her people from death and tyranny.
I have entered every contest possible to get my hands on this book and it paid off! I was a lucky winner. I was not asked to review this book! I wanted to because you all may not know about it! I got the book and started reading and did not put the book down till it was done! This is such an enchanting tail that Donna has spun for all of us to enjoy. I was drawn into the tail so quickly and fell in love with Jeniah and Kai. Jeniah is such a strong character and I liked her thought process. Kai the hero you would have to be a dim wit not to love him. I felt the charcters really grew in this tail.
This tail will include but is not limited to the following: fantasy, heart pounding adventure, action, romance, fantastic kissing, (no more than kissing...so it is clean)honor, magic, satisfying ending!
Queen in Exile is a fantasy romance that lacked nothing! This is a must have book! Five stars all the way! I loved this tail. Thanks Donna for sharing with us! I need your next book!

I was planning to buy this book but I entered a contest and was a lucky winner! Happy day for me. If I had not won the ebook I would have purchased it! I love the cover and all of Jaimey's other work. The author has not asked me to review this book. I am reviewing Deception because I wanted my readers to know about this book.
I loved this story!! Why? First because it has some character from Jaimey's other books in it and it is fun to revisit them. That being said this book can also be a stand alone book. I love Aurora and Levi's personalities in story, I could relate to them and like watching the relationship grow and develop. This is a clean romance with a great villain. The flow of the story excellent and I was never bored. Deception is my new favorite book from Jaimey Grant. I feel Jaimey has grown as an author!! Great work Jaimey and thank you for sharing your stories with us!! I look forward to your next book! You can't go wrong with this read!
From the Cover: Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss’s family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins’s groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.
First off I want to say that I have love the first two books The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I read Mockingjay and was drawn into the story just like the first two books. Suzanne is a great story teller. I get sucked into her books so quickly and never want to put them down. I felt that she could have futher developed the reasons Katniss chose who she did to be with. I don't like to guess why. I understand why Katniss chose who she did, but that is not who I wanted her to be with. That being said I was disapointed in that part of the book. I felt that Suzanne really rushed the ending and it bothered me a bit. I did like the twist near the end that I did not expect. I was a little disapointed but I am content. Over all I would buy this book again and recommend it and the series. I will be reading this series again.

Love, The Critic is a traditional Regency romance set in 1814 England. Elizabeth Tate once dreamed of being a poet-until her first volume of poetry received scathing reviews from someone known only as The Critic. Now, she simply wants to forget her humiliating past. And she's willing to consider an offer of marriage from a man she's never met, her neighbor, Alexander Jameson, Marquess of Langley if it will let her close that door. Unfortunately, she soon discovers Alexander has such high standards that no one could possibly be good enough for him. And it comes as no surprise to learn he is The Critic who mocked her work. But Alexander knows Elizabeth's true worth, both as a poet and a woman. And he sets out to prove to her that excellence-and love-are both worth striving for.
My good friend Melanie told me about this book. I picked it up right away and was well worth the money! This was a fun story and a keeper. I like the array of emotions I felt while reading it. It was well written and Amy does a great job on developing the characters. This is a sweet romance, very clean and you can't go wrong with it. I know Amy has some other books out and I will be buying them soon. I am so glad to find another clean romance author! I also added her to my author list if you want to check out her website!
