Tifferz Take:
I highly recommend this book!! If you like romance with a little mystery this is the book for you. I was swept into the story very quickly and was hooked. Rachel did an great job with character development and the flow of the story. This book just made me happy. This is a super clean read with some good kissing. Boy Meets Girl by Meg Cabot

From the cover:
Meet Kate Mackenzie. She:

•works for the T.O.D. (short for Tyrannical Office Despot, also known as Amy Jenkins, Director of the Human Resources Division at the New York Journal)
•is sleeping on the couch because her boyfriend of ten years refuses to commit
•can't find an affordable studio apartment anywhere in New York City
•thinks things can't get any worse.
They can. Because:

•the T.O.D. is making her fire the most popular employee in the paper's senior staff dining room
•that employee is now suing Kate for wrongful termination, and
•now Kate has to give a deposition in front of Mitch Hertzog, the scion of one of Manhattan's wealthiest law families, who embraces everything Kate most despises ... but also happens to have a nice smile and a killer bod.
The last thing anybody—least of all Kate Mackenzie—expects to find in a legal arbitration is love. But that's the kind of thing that can happen when ... Boy Meets Girl.

Tifferz Take:
This is the second book in a series. I have not read the first book. I think it was fine as a stand alone book. This is a fun book that is told in a series of e-mails, phone messages, instant messages, and journal entries. This book was cleverly written. The one thing that bothered me about the book was that Mitch's sister is a lesbian. That really ruined the book for me... it could have been great. I will not be reading this one again. I purchased this book.

A Song For Summer by Eva Ibbotson

From the cover:

Eighteen-year-old ellen never expected the Hallendorf school to be, well, quite so unusual. After all, her life back in england with her suffragette mother and liberated aunts certainly couldnt be called normal. but buried deep in the beautiful Austrian countryside, ellen discovers an eccentric world occupied by wild children and even wilder teachers, experimental dancers and a tortoise on wheels. And then there is the particurally intriguing, enigmatic, and very handsome Marek, part-time gardener and fencing teacher. Ellen is instantly attracted to the mysterious gardener, but Hitlers reich is already threatening their peaceful world. Only when she discovers Mareks true identity and his dangerous mission does Ellen realize the depth of her feelings for him and the danger their newfound love faces in the shadow of war.

Tifferz Take:
This book is a little slow in the beginning...but once things pick up it is really good. The author does a nice job of adding the unexpected. As I read I found myself losing track of names and who was who. A constant shifting of perspective also made the story a bit difficult to follow. Over all this is a good clean read. I purchased this book.

The Man You'll Marrry by Debbie Macomber

From the Cover:
The wedding dress was made many years ago, and it came with a promise:
The First Man You Meet…

Shelly Hansen was horrified when her great-aunt's wedding dress arrived—because, according to family legend, she was destined to marry the next man she met. So when she tripped on an escalator and fell into Mark Brady's arms, she told him—and herself—that she wasn't interested in marriage. But then she started seeing him everywhere…. Coincidence?

The Man You'll Marry

After her own wedding, Shelly sends her best friend, Jill Morrison, the dress—which is delivered to Jill's hotel in Hawaii. But at least the man she sat beside on the plane—gorgeous grouch Jordan Wilcox—can't be the man in question, can he? She met him before she got the dress!

Tifferz Take:
These are sweet and funny reads. They are totally clean and quick. I have to say I liked the second story much more than the first. I felt the first story was more dated. I know this was a reprint from the 90's and it showed in the first story. I will be reading these again. I am all for a happy ending :) My sister let me read this. I will be buying it because it was so good!

Then a dishevelled, sexy guy turns up...and lands a new bombshell. What happened to her? Will she ever remember? And what will happen if she does?

Tifferz Take:
I had a hard time with this book. I liked the plot and I did crack up through out the book but I did not like the fact that she used the F word frequently and the fact that she had an affair. The book was well written and the characters believable just not what I like to read about. I will not be reading this one again. I purchased this book.

My Ridiculous, Romantic Obessions by Becca Wilhite

From the Cover:
Sarah Howard is first year at the university is everything and nothing she expected especially when a very cute boy named Ben in her Art History class starts to show interest in her. Sarah feels like she s an average, normal, everyday girl. So, when Ben (to whom she secretly refers as Adonis because she thinks he could be a Greek god) begins to take interest in her, Sarah is in denial. For one thing, last year she was deeply crushed and humiliated by Jesse James a guy who she thought liked her. She s determined not to get burned again. But in her heart of hearts, what she really wants is a Jane Austen kind of romance. Ridiculous, right? That kind of romance doesn't exist anymore . . . or does it? Sarah is smart and fun to be around and even pretty, despite her Medusa-like red curls. She even plays the guitar. (So does Ben!) Yes, Sarah is everything Ben has wanted. He s crazy for her, but Sarah is just not getting it. She s playing hard to get, and if she s not careful, she is going to lose a real hot gentleman her 21st-century Mr. Darcy.

Tifferz Take:
I liked this easy, light and cute read. This is a feel good book and I enjoyed the moments when Sarah thinks things and actually says them out loud!! We have all had those moments and I could relate to Sarah. I did feel at times that the book did not flow very well from chapter to chapter, but the events at the end of the book were hilarious. Over all this was a fun read and I will read it again. If you enjoy a cute romance, pick this book up. Oh and it is super clean!!! I purchased this book.
