The Hourglass Door by Lisa Mangum

From the Cover:
Abby Edmunds's senior year of high school is going according to plan: good friends, cute boyfriend, and college applications in the mail. But when Dante Alexander, foreign-exchange student from Italy, arrives, he turns her life upside down and Abby finds herself drawn into a mystery whose roots reach into sixteenth-century Florence and she uncovers a dangerous truth that threatens not only her future, but the future of those she loves."

Tifferz Take:
The Hourglass Door was a very slow read. I felt the story really did not get interesting till 3/4 of the way into the book. The ending was really unrealistic. It was a clean! Just kissing. Lets just say not my favorite book and won't be reading this one again. I am glad my friend let me read it.

  1. Thanks for such a great (and straightforward) review! I just bought this book so I guess I'll have to read it... but too bad on the plot! I like that it's clean, though :D

  2. I haven't read this yet, but my 17 year old loved it and can't wait for the next one to come out.

Thanks for the honest review, though. Love that!

p.s. I found you from the link on Goodreads. :)
