From the Cover:
Abby Edmunds's senior year of high school is going according to plan: good friends, cute boyfriend, and college applications in the mail. But when Dante Alexander, foreign-exchange student from Italy, arrives, he turns her life upside down and Abby finds herself drawn into a mystery whose roots reach into sixteenth-century Florence and she uncovers a dangerous truth that threatens not only her future, but the future of those she loves."
Tifferz Take:
The Hourglass Door was a very slow read. I felt the story really did not get interesting till 3/4 of the way into the book. The ending was really unrealistic. It was a clean! Just kissing. Lets just say not my favorite book and won't be reading this one again. I am glad my friend let me read it.

Thanks for such a great (and straightforward) review! I just bought this book so I guess I'll have to read it... but too bad on the plot! I like that it's clean, though :D
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this yet, but my 17 year old loved it and can't wait for the next one to come out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the honest review, though. Love that!
p.s. I found you from the link on Goodreads. :)
